Rep. Aaron Bernstine of Butler/Lawrence is reminding residents about the upcoming Concealed Carry Seminar scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Penn Township Municipal Building.

“As a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, I know the right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental freedom guaranteed by both the Pennsylvania and United States constitutions,” said Bernstine. “It’s important for responsible gun owners to be informed about our state’s laws so they can exercise their rights safely and legally.”

The seminar will include presentations by Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger and Butler County Sheriff Michael Slupe. They will discuss Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, the Castle Doctrine, and other key aspects of firearms safety. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and clarify any misconceptions regarding gun regulations.

“With the number of concealed carry permits on the rise, seminars like this one are a great way to learn how to protect yourself and others while remaining compliant with the law,” added Bernstine. “These rights have helped our country remain free, and it’s crucial we remain informed to preserve them.”

The Penn Township Municipal Building is located at 157 E. Airport Road in Butler.

For further details about the event, residents of the 8th District can contact Bernstine’s district offices at 724-752-2120 or 724-847-5291.
