Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) is set to host a “Supporting Our Seniors” event on Saturday, February 10th, at the Unionville Volunteer Fire Company in Pennsylvania’s 8th Legislative District. The event aims to provide valuable information and assistance to senior citizens, their families, and caregivers.

According to Bernstine, “Older adults are the fastest-growing market in the nation, and they deserve our total support. Showing support for our senior citizens is essential. When these people feel valued, they benefit enormously. Their emotional well-being improves, and they can even have better health outcomes.”

The event, which is free to attend, will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. and will feature a variety of resources and programs specifically designed for senior citizens. Representatives from various organizations will be present to provide information and answer any questions attendees may have.

In a press release, Bernstine emphasized the importance of the event, stating, “Our goal is to create a one-stop shop where seniors and their families can learn about the programs and help available to them. We want to ensure that our senior citizens have access to the support and resources they need to live fulfilling and independent lives.”

Those interested in attending can contact Bernstine’s office in Butler at 724-847-5291 or his Ellwood City office at 724-752-2120 for more information. The event will also provide light refreshments for attendees.

The “Supporting Our Seniors” event will be held at the Unionville Volunteer Fire Company, located at 102 Mahood Road, Center Township, Butler.

This event serves as a testament to Bernstine’s commitment to the well-being and quality of life for senior citizens in his district. By providing a platform for education and support, Bernstine hopes to empower seniors and their families to make informed decisions and access the resources they need.

As the population of older adults continues to grow, it is crucial to prioritize their needs and ensure they receive the support they deserve. Bernstine’s “Supporting Our Seniors” event is a step in the right direction towards achieving this goal.
