On Friday, Feb. 21, former New Castle Junior Senior High School standout Rocco Bernadina’s current college team, the Kent State Golden Flashes, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Golden Flashes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Mercer Bears.
