Neshannock Junior Senior High School issued the following announcement on June 14.

In what might be the most exciting start to summer, our Neshannock Lancer Baseball and Softball Teams will both be playing in the PIAA Finals!  Our Neshannock Lancers had fans scrambling from one ball field to the next on Monday, June 13 in an attempt to catch all the semifinal action…and it was worth it!

Led by Head Coach Jacalyn Lash and Assistant Coaches Jeff Shaffer, Don Nogay, Kit Lash, and Jim Moats, the Lady Lancers secured their spot in the final matchup with a 13-6 victory over the Laurel Spartans in the PIAA semifinals on Monday, June 13.

Led by Head Coach John Quahliero and Assistant Coaches Kurt Latta, Wes Gibson, Dale Senchak, Joe Borrelli, Brock Shull, and JA Quahliero, the Lancers secured their spot in the final matchup with a 2-1 nine inning victory of the Burgettstown Blue Devils in the PIAA semifinals on Monday, June 13.

Our Lancers will hit the highway to Happy Valley for the PIAA Class 2A Finals with the boys playing on Thursday, June 16 and the girls playing on Friday, June 17.  Lawrence County SportsNet is planning to stream an audio broadcast of both games.  Tickets are available for purchase online – click here to order.  For complete details on the final matchups, please read below:
