On Saturday, April 19, former New Castle Junior Senior High School standout Rocco Bernadina’s current college team, the Kent State Golden Flashes, won 12-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Ohio Bobcats.

The game took place at Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Golden Flashes’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 21 at 6 p.m. at Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium against Washington & Jefferson Presidents.
