Residents of the 9th District who have served or are currently serving in the military, along with their families, are invited to attend a Veterans Breakfast hosted by Rep. Marla Brown (R-Lawrence) on Saturday, November 2. The event aims to connect military members, veterans, and their families with services and programs available to them.
“I am honored to invite our veterans and active-duty military members to this special breakfast,” said Brown. “It’s a great opportunity to connect with one another, share experiences and learn about the services available to support our heroes and their families. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and I look forward to expressing my gratitude in person.”
The breakfast will take place at American Legion Post 343 at 134 N. Jefferson St., New Castle, from 8-11 a.m. Brown and her staff will be present to provide information and answer questions during the event.
Brown encourages veterans interested in attending to call her district office at 724-498-4397 for confirmation.
“It is only fitting that we honor and thank our veterans for making our homeland a safe place to raise a family and for making America the best country in the world to live in,” added Brown.
