On Sunday, March 2, former New Castle Junior Senior High School standout Rocco Bernadina’s current college team, the Kent State Golden Flashes, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Indiana State Sycamores.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sycamores this season.

The Golden Flashes’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 3 p.m. at Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium against Mercyhurst Lakers.
