66 percent of applicants to Westminster College were admitted for fall 2018

At Westminster College, 99 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in New Wilmington enrolled 1,269 students in fall 2018, including 1,198 in undergraduate and 71 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

72 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 28 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Black or African American (5 percent).

The school admitted 66 percent of the 3,011 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 17 percent enrolled.
