100 percent of applicants to New Castle School of Trades were admitted for fall 2018

At New Castle School of Trades, 64 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 94 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in New Castle enrolled 454 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

51 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 49 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (87 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).

The school admitted 100 percent of the 187 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 68 percent enrolled.
