Cost of college went up for all students at Westminster College

Tuition and fees rose 1.5 percent for 2018-19 at Westminster College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $36,806 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $530 more than the $36,276 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 332 students received grants or scholarships totaling $8.9 million and 277 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,269), 1,172 students used grants or scholarships totaling $31.4 million, and 903 students took out $6.1 million in federal student loans.
