Lawrence County Schools issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.

Lawrence County School Nutrition Program will be providing Curbside Pick-up Meals for any student enrolled in Lawrence County. Please complete this meal survey to order meals for your child to be picked up on September 2, 2020 between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. CST. The exception is Ethridge, which is 11:00 to 12:00. Please complete form to guarantee meals. All students must be enrolled in Lawrence County Schools.

Due to USDA guidelines, meals will have to be charged based on eligibility. Unless your student qualifies for free or reduced priced meals, you will have to pay for meals. Payments can be made online at schoolcafe.com or you can send a check by mail to the JC Barnett Center, 610 Mahr Avenue, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464 Attn: School Nutrition. Money will not be accepted at the curbside pickup.

Fill out one Meal Survey per child. All meals for the family may be picked up at one school. Meals do not have to be picked up at the school the student attends. Students do not have to be present for meal pick up. Hybrid students will be given 3 days worth of breakfasts and lunches and Remote students will be give 5 days worth of breakfast and lunches.

Please make sure to complete the form each week. We are asking parents to do this to ensure we have enough meals prepared for everyone.

Meals will be served refrigerated and/or frozen for your convenience. You will be emailed instructions for proper storage and reheating.
