Lawrence County Schools issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
Special Announcement for Summertown High School:
Summertown High School students, grades 7-12th will be on the LCSS Remote Learning Model beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3rd through Monday, November 16th.
SHS has experienced a number of student related Covid-19 issues.
LCSS understands the inconvenience this action/decision places on the SHS school community.
It is our hope that a pivot to Remote Learning will correct the issue with students returning to classes on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
