Riverside Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
Riverside Kindergarten Orientation Kindergarten is such an exciting year full of new experiences for both our students and their families! Prior to the first official day of school for the 2021-2022 year, Kindergarten Orientation will be held.
This event acclimates you and your child to our district; you will be given valuable information, and your child will get to tour a bus, eat in the cafeteria, and play on the playground. Please plan to attend orientation on Monday, August 30th.
Your session is dependent upon your child’s last name as shown below; you must attend the session corresponding with last name due to very limited space.
3:00 – 4:30 FOR STUDENTS LAST NAMES STARTING WITH A – L
5:00 – 6:30 FOR STUDENTS LAST NAMES STARTING WITH M – Z
Please enter the Primary Center through the lower glass entryway where staff will meet you and direct you where to go.
We ask that you arrive promptly at your scheduled start time and are encouraged to stay for the entire session. Also, we respectfully request that you refrain from bringing siblings and additional family members to allow for the opportunity to focus on your child.
Please note that the first official day of kindergarten will be the following day (Tuesday, August 31st). We look forward to welcoming the class of 2034 to Riverside!
