New HS Guidance Counselor

Startup business and marketing tips

Wilmington Area Middle School  issued the following announcement on Oct. 25.

Hello,

As the new High School Counselor at Wilmington Area High School, I want to take this time to introduce myself to you, the students and families of Wilmington and let you know of the resources available. My name is Katie Gray and I am excited to begin in this role. I  look forward to growing the school counseling program and creating resources to better the school community. I have been in education for nearly a decade and have experience in both higher education and high school counseling.

In the coming weeks, I will be setting a schedule to meet with seniors as they prepare their post- secondary plans. Then, move to meeting with students in grades 9-11. As always, I encourage students to stop by my office or email with questions they may have! Academics, College/ Career, and Social and Emotional domains are large areas that can impact a student's high school career. I am available to help students in the areas above and guide them to the resources available.

I am invested in the Wilmington community and look forward to working with and meeting many of you soon, and making a positive impact to the WASD School Counseling Department. I have included some of the upcoming events that have already been scheduled below. There will be more to come!
