Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
The Cedar Crest College lacrosse team begins its 2022 campaign at home against Wells College on Saturday, March 19 at 11:30 a.m. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Cedar Crest was picked sixth in the CSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Head coach Rylee Gould enters her second season at the helm in 2022.
- Cedar Crest returns all-conference student-athletes Sydney Heathcott (Newburgh, Ind./Castle) and Alexandra Infante (Stowe, Vt./Stowe).
- The Falcons return three of its top scorers from a year ago in Emily Schoelier (Newton, N.J./Sussex County Technical), Heathcott, and Kailyn Jones (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly).
- The top four teams will qualify for CSAC Tournament with the semifinal taking place on Tuesday, May 3 with the semifinal winners meeting in the championship on Saturday, May 7.
- 3/19 vs. Wells College (Home and Season Opener), 11:30 a.m.
- 4/9 at Wilson College (CSAC Opener), 11:00 a.m.
- 4/12 vs. Notre Dame of Maryland University (First CSAC game at the FalconPlex), 4:00 p.m.
- 4/30 vs. Sweet Briar College (Last regular season home game), 10:00 a.m.
