Elementary Summer Reading Program

Kids park 22

Neshannock Junior Senior High School issued the following announcement on May 10.

Make this summer magical and explore, learn, investigate, and find a new adventure in the pages of a book! The Neshannock Elementary Library summer reading program will begin soon with the theme ‘Enchant Your World, Read a Book!’

The program will be held June 14 – August 2, every Tuesday, in the Elementary Library throughout the summer from 9:30-11:00 am.

Participants can check out library books, explore our collection of eBooks and eAudiobooks, and take part in fun reading activities.  Additionally, students can choose to participate in our summer program reading incentive. Each reading incentive participant will receive a paper lancer positioned at the beginning of a journey. For every book students read, their lancers move along the road of their journey. The goal is for each lancer to reach the castle at the end of the road. All participants will receive a prize. Prizes will vary depending on level of achievement.

Sign-up sheets for the summer reading program have been distributed to students. The sign-up form is also available electronically: Click Here to Register Online

Please sign up by June 6, 2022. If you have questions or need more information, please contact Elementary Librarian Amy Ebner.
