On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Mohawk High School standout Jay Wrona’s current college team, the Youngstown State Penguins, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Akron Zips.

The game took place at Skeeles Field. This was their first matchup against the Zips this season.

The Penguins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Roadrunner Field against UTSA Roadrunners.
