There was a single gas station in cities across Lawrence County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $4.34 per gallon in the week ending Aug. 31, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Lawrence County was $4.51 per gallon.

Of the 39 reported gas stations in cities within Lawrence County, nine offer premium gas.

The average reported price of premium gas in Pennsylvania was $4.23, compared to $4.27 the week before.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
