Want to learn more about how composting and rain barrels can help your environment?
Join the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department and the Lawrence County Conservation District to learn about backyard composting, rain barrels, rain gardens, and more! Not only will you learn how to do these things, but you will also learn about their importance to you, your community, and your environment, especially in a post-pandemic world.
The registration fee is $10 and includes a compost bin (a $40 value). Register by calling the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department at 724-658-6925 or emailing jzona@lawrencecountypa.gov.
When: Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Lawrence County Courthouse Gettings Annex
(Former church across from the Courthouse. Use the Milton Street Entrance which is the one facing the Courthouse.)
