Coverpage effectiveness of corporate training

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute  issued the following announcement on Mar. 15

Mr. Maley, left, and Mikaylah Martin at the March 5 ceremony.

Two Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students were honored this month for their outstanding artwork during the region’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards ceremony at Kutztown University.

Charles Carpenetti, a Parkland High School senior in LCTI’s Advertising Design/Commercial Art program and Academic Center, won two Gold Keys and two Silver Keys for his digital art and paintings. Mikaylah Martin, home-schooled senior in the Advertising Design program, won a Silver Key for her pen and ink drawing.

Advertising Design teacher Patrick Maley joined Charles and Mikaylah for the special event.

Charles’ artwork is currently being judged at the national level. We’ll learn later this month if he can add a national art award to his accolades.

In its 99th year, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation’s most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.

Congratulations, Charles and Mikaylah! LCTI is proud of you!
