Census Bureau: More men than women in New Bedford in 2020

Of the 1,053 people living in New Bedford in 2020, 49.6 percent (522) were women and 50.4 percent (531) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Lawrence Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 33. In the 65 and over age range, there were 52 females and 91 males.
