Rep. Aaron Bernstine has announced a $1 million allocation for improvement projects in the 8th Legislative District. This funding comes from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), which focuses on economic growth and community resource enhancement.

"I am excited to see these funds come to our district, as they will significantly enhance local facilities and promote job growth," said Bernstine. "Investing in our community infrastructure is crucial for attracting new opportunities and ensuring a vibrant future for our residents."

The funds are designated for two initiatives: $500,000 will upgrade the Sarah Heinz House Camp to ensure a safe environment for youth activities, while another $500,000 will aid in constructing a new industrial building at Stonecrest Business Park. This construction aims to attract industrial investment and create jobs.

RACP is managed by the Office of the Budget and supports projects that boost regional economic, cultural, civic, and recreational development.
