Westfield Presbyterian Church issued the following announcement on Jan. 28.
The Discipleship and Membership Committee invites you to Pizza Project Nights on the third Wednesday of the month from now through April. These gatherings are a way to provide fellowship for our Westfield family as well as work together on a community service project. We will meet from 6-7pm to enjoy a simple meal of pizza and a beverage then work on a project that will benefit people in our community.
Our next Pizza Project night is Wednesday, February 16, from 6-7 p.m. Our project will be to pack bags for our local first responders which include North Beaver, Bessemer and Mahoning Police and Fire Departments. Click here to sign up and choose your pizza toppings. Reservations are appreciated no later than the Tuesday before (February 15).
Please consider donating items for this project. There will be a designated box in the back of the church until our deadline on Sunday, February 13. Thank you!
We will be collecting the following suggested items:
- snack bars (NutriGrain, Kind, Granola, etc.)
- individual packets of crackers (Cheez Its, peanut butter or cheese 6 packs, Ritz Bits, etc.)
- individual packs of cookies
- hand warmers
- hand sanitizer
- small bottles of water
- gum
- coloring books
- 8pk crayons
- stickers
- lollipops
- juice boxes
($5 & $10 would be great!)
