Learn abouthibernators, migrators, and those hardy critters that stay active all winter long in ourPennsylvania woods.All ages invited on this moderate hike of about one mile, watching for signs of wildlife activity.Dress for the weather, bring your own water and snacks, and wear sturdy footwear. Meet by theopen restroom at the Pleasant Valley Picnic Area, about ½ mile straight past the South Shorepark office, 225 Pleasant Valley Road, Portersville, PA. Light snow or shine is fine, but severeweather or dangerous road conditions automatically cancels event.
