Residents of the 9th District who have served or are currently serving in the military, along with their families, are invited to a Veterans Breakfast hosted by Rep. Marla Brown (R-Lawrence) on Saturday, November 2. The event aims to connect military members, veterans, and their families with various services and programs available to them.

“I am honored to invite our veterans and active-duty military members to this special breakfast,” said Brown. “It’s a great opportunity to connect with one another, share experiences and learn about the services available to support our heroes and their families. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and I look forward to expressing my gratitude in person.”

The breakfast will take place at American Legion Post 343, located at 134 N. Jefferson St., New Castle, from 8-11 a.m. During this time, Brown and her staff will be present to provide information and answer questions.

Brown encourages veterans planning to attend the event to call her district office at 724-498-4397 for confirmation.

“It is only fitting that we honor and thank our veterans for making our homeland a safe place to raise a family and for making America the best country in the world to live in,” added Brown.

For further details about this event or any state-related issue, contact Brown’s district office in New Castle at 28 N. Mill St., or visit her website. Media inquiries can be directed to Rick Leiner at Rleiner@pahousegop.com or by phone at 717-260-6437 (office) or 717-497-8478 (cell).
